Men are 7.4% more likely to be cited for a major HOS violation than women and 13.2% more likely to have a major unsafe driving violation. The analysis, conducted by the researchers from Auburn University and the University of Tennessee, used data from 22 million roadside inspections from 2010 to 2022.
