In April 2023, CVSA posted a new “Inspection Bulletin,” providing details for inspecting tires on a CMV with an automatic tire inflation system and tires with a tire pressure monitoring system. Inspections Bulletins provide commercial motor vehicle enforcement guidance on how to properly inspect and notate discovered violations but are also helpful to the industry in understanding how inspections are conducted and how to prevent violations.
