GeoTab’s Nationwide Study of Interstate Ramp Parking report found that from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025, there were 2.2 million observed truck parking events on interstate highway ramps, with 6% of the total lasting 9-12 hours in duration. The report also identifies where in the country these events are occurring, including the top 30 states and metro areas.
International Roadcheck enforcement blitz will occur May 12-14, 2026. The focus for this year’s event is on ELD tampering, falsification, or manipulation. The vehicle focus will be on cargo securement.
ATRI’s Top 100 Truck Bottlenecks Report notes that 28 states have at least 1 in the top 100. The top 5 are Texas (12), Georgia (9), California (8), Tennessee (8), and Illinois (6). They also cite an average peak hour truck speed of 33.2 mph, which was down 2.8% YOY.
